Spring Kick-Off and USO Info

Hello PWOC Sisters,

Due to the inclement (and treacherous) weather, it saddens my heart to tell you that we have to cancel the PWOC kickoff for THURS, JAN 13, 2011. We will shift everything to January 20th and come out next THURS to fellowship and reconnect with each other after a long break! I miss you all so much and look forward to getting back together.

WE DO HAVE A FEW NEEDS...

We have been blessed with the opportunity to serve at the USO again but it is on JANUARY 18, 2011 - TUESDAY. That will sneak up on us quickly.
Can you possibly HELP OUT with a donation of food for this event?
NEED: pulled pork and chicken BBQ - if you can assist with that, can you let us know as soon as possible and bring it to chapel either this weekend or Tues morning (by 8am)?
NEED: sides of brownies, potato salad, coleslaw and rolls.

We also have room for volunteers. Would you like to go on Tues, January 18, to the airport USO to HELP OUT? Not only can we serve the food but we can also be greeters. Greeters can be there from 7:30a-2p and servers from 10-2p. Greeters can share the time with others (if you can only be there for 2-4 hours in the a.m., someone else can do the afternoon time).

Let me or Donna know as soon as possible if you have interest in attending the USO as EITHER server or greeter. We can take about 6 people to the event and possibly more.

Be safe out there - actually - just stay home!
