The PWOC website is the place-to-be for conference registrations, updates on speakers and musicians, workshops, and the hotel accomodations. Our International Board met last week to pray for PWOC and its ongoing ministries. Here's a SNEAK PEAK of our upcoming conference at the DFW Hyatt. Is anyone counting down the days until DALLAS??

Prayer Requests
* Smooth PCS move to DC
* Travel mercies for 79 yr old father as he travels to his high school reunion as well as peace for him as he leaves his wife who he visits twice daily - she has Alzheimers
* Healing after hip surgery
* Finding the proper assisted living arrangements for a cousin
* PWOC leadership
* Recovery from illness in several families
* College student for tuition provisions
* Freshman in high school, for ease of transition, safety and ability to learn
* Travel mercies for son in musical group
* Chapel retreat
* Husband needs enployment
* Travel mercies for all on the road for whatever reason
* Family unity
* Strength after death and all that results from the loss of a love one
* Husband and family during unaccompanied tour

Local Board Retreat
After two days of praying about the year and planning for Bible studies and programs, some board members went for a pedicure! Is this the best way to prepare for "At the Redeemer's FEET"? Maybe so! After all, to clean the feet of another is what servants do. I guess they were just getting themselves ready to serve in the upcoming year.
How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, "Your God reigns!"

Summer Session Begins!
We had a wonderful crowd of 24 ladies today! Praise the LORD!
After a time of announcements, introduction of the board, a brief history of PWOC and its aims, and praise/worship, we began our new study on healthy eating. Throughout the summer, a light lunch will be provided. Moms, please remember to bring lunch for your children.
This is the schedule for the summer study:

We ended our time together committing to pray with people all over the country. We will be participating in this prayer time for our country from now through the election in November. If you cannot join us for a weekly meeting, please remember to lift up the election process, praying God's Word back to Him, asking for His divine guidance and mercy for America.
