Serving Our Sisters for Sept. 25
It's N-Z's turn for Serving Our Sisters this week. If your last name begins with N-Z, please bring a dish to share and help with set up and/or clean up. Also, if someone would like to decorate the table, please let me know. We have some items in a closet that you can decorate with, or you can bring something from home.
Thank you to all the ladies last week who prepared dishes and who helped with set up, clean up, and decorations. We had a lovely table and good food! Thank you for being a blessing to PWOC.

Ask Yourself....
Questions to ask yourself during the year’s theme –
AT THE REDEEMER’S FEET
(provided by Southeast Region President, Diane Hall, at Leadership Weekend '08)
What is my relationship with GOD?
What is my relationship with my husband? What does it look like (for example, am I respecting him, building him up, etc.?)
Family relationships are important to our Father.
What is my relationship with my child(ren)? Am I speaking blessings into their lives?
As a woman of GOD, am I honoring my husband, caring for my home and nurturing my child(ren)?
Have I allowed the LORD to restore me from my past (especially for those who did not know the LORD as a young child)?
Have I grown in my relationship with the LORD as the years go by?
Do I listen to HIS instructions? Or do I follow the voice of my friends?
Am I washing myself daily? Allowing the cleansing process to keep me pure before the LORD?
Am I a sweet fragrance to my LORD?
Am I willing to enter into His presence and die to self no matter what the cost?
Am I willing to lie at HIS feet to encounter His love and receive my inheritance?
Do I need to return to my first love and seek HIS will for me as a leader?
Will I be faithful in all that the LORD asks me to do during my time of service as a leader?
Will I choose to bless others instead of speaking ill of those placed over me during this time of leadership? (James 3:9-10, “with it we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the likeness of GOD; from the same mouth come both blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be this way.”)
Will I bring forth an abundance of grain during this harvest period as a leader?
What am I willing to lose in order to gain intimacy with my Savior (title, position, friendships, etc.)?
Am I praising my LORD for all HE has done and is doing in my life?

Am I determined to make a difference as a servant of the Most High?

SERVING OUR SISTERS Announcement!!
We will be taking turns providing lunch for our fellow sisters in Christ.
For September 18 ~ Ladies whose last names begin with A-M are asked to bring a pot-blessing to share and also to help set up and/or clean up.
For September 25 ~ Ladies whose last names beginning with N-Z are asked to bring a pot-blessing to share and also to help set up and/or clean up.

Prayer Requests
From September 4th ~
-Friend in Germany needs ear surgery, pray that the best surgeon in the States is found, and that she will have support during recovery.
-Friend in Baumholder coming out of a diabetic coma, pray for full recovery in all aspects of life.
-A friend in hospice care and his family during this trying time.
-Parents seeking new church that will meet their needs.
-Employment for husband
-College application process for son.
-Challenges of senior year.
-Minor surgery on the 25th of Sept
-Clayton School district, for all affected by the situation.
-Travel mercies for husband overseas.
-Hurricane effects on the nation, from Gustov and those still coming.
-Successful cancer treatment and continued progress
-Elections at all levels
-Praise for successes in all our endeavors

-for family and friends of a chaplain's wife in hospice care from cancer
-for friend undergoing chemotherapy-for friend in the hospital
-for a school bus driver who suffered an aneurism while driving, kids are safe, has been having surgery for 2 days
-for a successful job interview
-college student accepted to college, but still many concerns with regard to educational process
-unspoken health issues
-9/11 families, the military and the nation
