Red Mountain Music

You are in for a real treat! Come hear Red Mountain Music at White Oak Presbyterian Church on November 8th at 7pm. They play a wide range of the hymns of our faith and sing with an original, acoustic sound that is appreciated by worshipers of all ages. The concert will be held in White Oak Hall ("the gym"). If you get there early (like 6:30 or before), I'll show you around the old sanctuary building....you know how I like a history field trip.
Directions:
From Atlanta and I-85 South: Exit 41 - turn right - turn right on to Ga. 16 - go over the interstate bridge - turn right onto Gordon Road and follow it for a couple of miles until you see White Oak Pres. Church on the left (almost to the Gordon Road - Ga. 54 intersection).
From Clayton Co., Fayetteville, and Peachtree City: Get on Ga. 54 east towards Newnan/Senoia/Sharpsburg. When you have gone through the Ga. 74/Ga. 54 intersection in PTC, go east until you see a big yellow Victorian house (Collector's Corner/Jasmine Tea Room). Turn left there. Ga. 34 will go straight. You will want to be on Ga. 54 south. Drive until you see signs for Sharpsburg and East Coweta High School; pass the intersection with Ga. 154, and pass the intersection with Ga. 16. You'll think that you're driving to the far ends of the earth, and you realize you've forgotten your passport. SOON (I promise) you'll get to the intersection of Ga. 54 and Gordon Road. Turn right. You'll see an OLD house and some barns; the church is on the right.
If you're coming from Douglasville and can maneuver your way through Palmetto on Ga. 29, you'll soon come to Ga. 154. Take Ga. 154 until you pass ECHS and come to the Ga. 54 intersection. Turn right and follow the same instructions as above until you come to Gordon Road and turn right. WAY out in the country.
Cell phones will not work at White Oak. Be forewarned.
Come prepared to be truly blessed of the Lord and to worship Him in spirit and truth.
I promise it will be worth your time! (I make this reverse-drive to ATL all the time, and it's the same blessing to see all of you up on post.)
Rest well tonight; be blessed; and we're leaving SOON for conference!! Much love, mh.
